I'm in love with you.?
Got half a chicken to share for 360+, (they charged by weight.) Fairly decent hainanese style chicken rice. Chicken parts were succulent and rather juicy even for the chicken breast.
MoreThey move to another place but not too far from the old place. Their chicken rice is delicious. The rice is just perfect and smells very good (taste good too!). The broth taste so good although a little bit salty and the chicken taste a bit bland for me.The new place is more comfortable and clean too.
MoreOrdered half a chicken to share among four, was enough. Went at about 6.45pm and there was a queue. Moves pretty quickly, think we were seated in about 15-20mins. Rice was fragrant but nothing extraordinary about the chicken. Tastes pretty much like chicken rice in SG, in fact it’s actually missing the Sg chicken rice chili :)
MoreI think I should give them 6 stars. The chicken rice was so nice, the price was value compared to the portion. I went there for lunch and the queue not to long, service fast and the food so delicious. No wonder the got Michelin star. Will be back here someday for sure. Keep up the good work.
MoreServe good food and nice Thai milk tea. Value for money, need to queue as it gets crowded during dinner time.
MoreEstablished in 1960, Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice is on Michelin's Guide Bib Gourmand recommendations. Recognizable by it's pink themed crew and logo, this restaurant serves delicious steam Chicken Rice. Chicken is sold by weight. Price is reasonable and the food is good! Expect a queue when coming, and do take note they do have specific operating hours, having a break in the afternoon. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Delicious food.
MoreFor the price it can’t be beat, very tender hainan chicken, the sauce is on the sweet side. Chicken mushroom broth was a bit salty, chicken bone broth was perfect. Most entrees were under 60 baht opens super early and close late. perfect for those jet lagged.
MoreGreat Hainan chicken rice! Probably the best I've ever tried in Bangkok. The place has a Michelin star, it's got what it deserves! Well done Go Ang. 120 baht for the large one and 60 baht for small. Rice is extra 10 baht. And we also got the papaya salad, very refreshing!
MoreSuper quick & cheap eats at only ฿40/plate There are better tasting chicken places but for the price it’s hard to beat. Chicken is not as juicy but their sauce compensates. Good texture and flavor for the rice. Soup was on the salty side but I’m rather sensitive compared to most people. The Perfect portion — just enough keep you feeling satisfied but not stuffed. This place opens till very late so it makes a good option if you’re hungry very late at night and so happen to be within the area.
MoreOrdered half spring chicken (THB340) for 3 person, chicken is tender and nice too. The dipping sauce is unique on its own, giving it the spice kick but at the same time supporting the flavour of the chicken too. Rice is flavourful too!
MorePortion is a bit small i recommend to either order addition plate to share with friends or just get the medium/large chicken for sharing. The chilli is very nice, but i feel the chicken lack some sause on the chicken. Feel like i am just eating boil chicken. Rice is fragrant, can try their soup as well.
MoreWhile it’s a common flavour for some people, they’ve nailed the rice flavouring just right so we find ourselves coming back again. Love the bitter gourd soup too! The difference would be the chilli sauce as they’ve got their own style. If you happen to drop by at night, the uncle that sells fried dough fritters just opposite at the corner is good too!
MoreVery dry and hardly any fragrance. Very average (as I have expected a 'wow'). A plate costs THB40.00 which you could choose your preferred parts.
MoreNice food, I like both soy sauce hainan chinches rice and the regular one. To be honest, there were other options but it’s good that we tried this one!
More10 minutes walk from Centralworld. Good place for local chicken rice.Highly recommended.
MoreActually the chicken is slightly above average to good. Not that spectacular as would have expected. Maybe because of the social media craze. The chicken soup is pretty tasty. But still you probably have to queue a while.
Morebeautiful chicken with fragranced rice, come with a free chicken soup, very yum yum. Worth the reasonable waiting time and short walk from bts.
MoreCheap. Satisfying. Delicious. Can't say much about the decor or ambiance, but that's not what this kind of place is about anyway. Come here for a quick, solid, simple Hainan chicken and rice meal.
MoreDefinitely will miss their chicken rice! Tender meat and nice chili sauce💕
The chicken is soft and succulent. The place ambiance make you wanna eat more. Don't like the new place at the mall; long queue.
MoreTasty Michelin-Starred Hainan Chicken with Rice! Enjoyed the Thai Iced Tea, too.
Good place to eat chicken rice in Bangkok. Their steamed chicken is so soft, delicious, and rich of flavor. Known as Pachamke in my origin, Jakarta, this kind of comfort food really satisfying! Just a simple menu yet making people no hesitate to get in a line, even with a long queue!
MoreLovely Chicken Rice dish, chicken is tender with the perfect cooked of long grain jasmin rice.
MoreLong queue during lunch but quick turnaround. Worth waiting. Soup is delicious.
This has moved, it’s a short walk and there is someone to guide you but on google maps it’s now under Raan Kaithong Pratunam. It’s in a little mall, air conditioned but still cheap! The food was amazing, the chicken rice is a MUST TRY! The lines can get pretty long around lunch time so try to get there a bit earlier.
MoreSmall portion especially chicken. Rice is good, chicken just so so. Recommend for the first timer to try, but don't waste time to queue for second time.
MoreGood service, nice food and clean..
Can see why this place is popular. Everything tasted good. Cheap too. Fast, but not so friendly service.
MoreCome here many times, the food is nice and cheap. Fast service and always busy.
Better to eat here than order via food delivery.
Local and tourist favorite chicken rice shop, it’s as Hainanese chicken rice as you can get in Bangkok. A personal favorite compared to other nearby shops selling (almost) the same. We nickname it the Pink Chicken as opposed to the other chicken shops. The rice is cooked to perfection with the right fragrance and taste of chicken, only steamed chicken available that goes well with the dark soy sauce plus ginger. Love the soup; especially the peppery bitter gourd boiled with pork ribs that falls off the bone in your mouth! Super yum 👍👍 fair value for money.
MoreThere was a queue, but turnover rate relatively fast. Simple to order. Other than that not sure what’s the hype about. You’ll find plenty of such chicken rice stalls in Singapore without the queue, without the hype and probably the same price too. Heck, you can probably find such qualities in primary school canteens.
Moregood chicken rice, mushroom chicken soup. and bitter gourd duck soup! so good
Tasty and cheap haianese chicken rice. Gets pretty damn busy though as it’s listed on the Michelin guide website. Has a great ginger flavor infused in the rice as expected. I’d come back again, in fact, I’m going to order a second one now! #BeatTheGrind
MoreThis is the original stall, conveniently located opposite the Berkeley Hotel where we stayed. There is a queue most of the time but it moves fast. The chicken is tender and its skin doesn’t taste of MSG unlike those from some other stalls. We ordered 4 plates of chicken rice with an additional plate of chicken (small) as recommended and a plate of chicken liver for sharing among the 4 of us. The chili is unique as I tasted red rice vinegar in it and i simply love it with the chicken and liver. Service is relatively fast and food is good and real value for money. You may also like to note that the stall is featured in the Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide.
MoreNice Chicken Rice, Rice is prepared with a just-right proportion of sticky rice and Thai fragrance rice which make the rice has a strong aroma. But sadly the chicken is a little bit dry but is still acceptable. The chilli is the main point of the whole chicken rice, the chilli serves with the chicken rice can bring to the whole dish to another level. Recommend to pay a visit!Food 5/5Ambience 4/5 Service 3/5Value 5/5
MoreThis is the new store (branch) at The Market Bangkok. You will need to walk all the way to the end and Turn Left on first floor (which is one level down from the sky bridge). This is probably the only store with queue at the food wing of the building.Food (4/5): good but I prefer the buzz at the original store. It’s more formal setting and more items on the menu.Service (4/5): better than original store and its air-conditioned!
MoreLove the taste of the chicken rice, chicken soup and sauce. Chicken meat texture just average. They have few stores in Bangkok with slightly different operating hours. Takeway service available here too.
MoreMy favorite street food restaurant for chicken rice. Reasonable price, clean, delicious. Rice over here not so greasy and you can choose the part of chicken to eat.
MoreLocation easy to find... just in between supermarket BigC & Pratunam. Long queue when we reached at 2pm weekday but turn up for seat is fast. - Hainanese chicken rice taste normal for me as malaysian, but the sauce is quite different from ordinary.- Thai tea in thick texture and it’s recommended!- Braised pork is a big disappointment, dry and tasteless, don’t waste your money.Overall it’s worth to try for experience. Reasonable price for good food. Their service is not bad too. — Visited 19 Nov 2019 —
MoreBangkok local chicken rice shop, I find this shop on google and give a try to taste, luckily we are not dissatisfied by the local reviews too. It was good taste but still I give the best rate to try Malaysian chicken rice.
MoreTake note that they had shifted to a new mall behind Bangkok market . Remember to take the menu then queue up. If not , they will ask you to choose the food and queue up again.
MoreThier unique sauce is the key. Overall is just a chicken rice. The pork give me a surprise.
MoreFamous chicken rice in the heart of Bangkok. Has very good value for the price, rice is fragrant and soup is peppery and flavourful. However the chicken is less tender than expected and prepare to queue for a while during peak hours. Overall would still recommend to anyone who does not want to leave central Bangkok.
MoreThe best chicken rice around. Very small seating area gets a line of people by 11:45 go early.. No air-con. Get a good Thai tea next door.
MoreEverytime I go to Bangkok, I have a meal there. Very nice.
The taste is just soso. You can find this quality everywhere in Thailand. I am not sure why so many customer here, may be good marketing.
MoreWe went in when the shop opened and there was a queue line. We ordered the chicken with rice. We regretted going here with a full stomach, shame we couldn’t order more...Overall, the chicken was tender and the sauce all together was excellent.
MoreMichelin 1 star chicken rice shop. I love the sauce. They mix chili and ginger into the sauce. Their chicken taste very fresh. The rice is not oily and it tastes delicious. The price is reasonable as i ordered one plate of chicken 60 baht and a plate of chicken on top of rice for 40 baht. Will come here again. They have another outlet just at the next road.
MoreGood food, average service quality
